Background

Razor Coast was once inhabited by the native Tulita. But explorers and opportunists from the far-off pirate city, Carcass, (within The Shackles of Golarion), began to settle in the region. The Tulita saw their Whale God dishonored and desecrated, as the newcomers hunted down the whales whom they worshiped. The two peoples eventually went to war, but the Tulita were no match to the advanced weapons of the invaders. The invaders established a city, Port Shaw.

You and your party find yourselves on the docks of this treacherous city of pirates, merchants, and slave lords. What adventures lie in store for you in this sun-scorched den of thieves?

In addition to the Pathfinder Core Rules, we will also use Frog God Games’ options in the Razor Coast Freebooter’s Guide and rules for ships and ship warfare in Razor Coast: Fire As She Bears!

Character Creation

  • STARTING LEVEL: Level 5 (this campaign takes us up through Level 12, and then we can decide what to do afterward)
  • CLASSES: all Paizo-published classes, prestige classes, and archetypes are available, as well as the classes and prestige classes in the Freebooter’s Guide
  • RACES: on this page, only the races listed under “Core Races” and “Featured Races,” plus Changelings, Gillmen, Gripplis, Kitsune, Merfolk, Nagaji, Samsarans, Vanaras, Vishkanyas and Wayangs
  • ABILITY SCORES: 25-point buy
  • WEALTH: 10,500 gold
  • KEEP IN MIND: You do not begin with your own ship, but you might obtain one! If so, you will want to be skilled in Profession (sailor), and if a character captains the ship then Charisma is useful for having a strong and loyal crew.

Say what your race and class will be below!

From what I can tell, I think Nick will be a gunslinger (pistolero), and so will Athos. I’m guessing Otto will want a powerful gun! Maybe a musket master? Lots of guns!

Moises, you might want to take the Craft Arms and Armor feat so you can enchant their guns.

You should be a Gunslinger (Musket Master) then! A pepperbox rifle has a capacity of 4. At 6th level with a Haste spell and Rapid Shot you can fire off 4 shots in one round muahahah

I’d maybe like to be a half-orc or other creature with possibly a high DEX mod.

Not a big deal… You can have your eyes match your hair. But one problem is I think your speed is only 5 feet on land

Oh wait I was mixing it up with the merfolk. You have a normal speed of 30 ft. But you also need to be immersed in water once a day or die within 4d6 hours

I think that instead of the steampunk leg brace I’m going to have my hole left leg be a robotic steampunk leg as if I had amputated it and then made this one
