4th day of Abadius, 4716 AR (May the fourth be with you)
Sorry, it has been hard to write. I have been very busy with this thing called homework. Anyway, we were clearing out a level with lots of teleportation pads around. We tested a couple of them and then one took us to a huge cavern. There were footprints in the dirt but alas we could not follow them. The only way to get out was a pad on an island in the middle of a lake. While we were all walking around the room looking for stuff, Lily, who has very keen eyes (and a high perception roll), spotted a shadow speeding toward Valestar. Shadows are incorporeal so you need a magic weapon to hurt it. None of us had magic weapons so we were worried until Valestar killed it with a spell. Then we went over to the lake. Drun Ken Sayler was about to jump in and swim to the island when we saw a snake-like head rise out of the water. Then we saw another head, and another, and another, and another. A real five-headed hydra!! I had always wanted to see one, but maybe not in this circumstance. We slayed it easily and went to the teleportation pad in the center of the island. It took us back to a room that looked familiar.
Hey, I’m back. We just got teleported to the main entrance to Rappan Athuk. It is really creepy here. We just saw an open grave with “Lily” written across the tombstone. We looked down a really deep well but Valestar said no swimming until we GTFO. Because Lily wanted to die she walked down to the large central mausoleum. The second she got close, the gargoyles around her animated and flew into the air. They ruthlessly attacked us, killing Lily and bringing Valestar down to 4 health. Then, we GTFO’ed.
