7th day of Rova, 4713 AR
The battle was a blur, with people jumping out of the flaming ship, Fitz shooting everyone’s brains out, fire, lots of fire, and many many weresharks. It was awesome, like totally amazing! Anyways, afterwards the Tulita got a little more power, but Nlishgar was still unhappy with their rights.
Soon thereafter, I (Gwenelyth) practiced my brewing and I was told it wasn’t that bad. Triumph! While I was doing that, my bestie, Sarisa and her fiance Fitz planned their wedding. As we were all doing our own thing around the city someone, I don’t remember who, found a poster saying Jalia Ramires was going to get executed for murder and treason. We were just about to ask her about the Ring of the Kraken, so we rushed straight to the person we knew knew her best, Belok Talorg.
We ran to the one place we knew we would find him, the Broken Skull. At first he didn’t know who I was so I had to tell that I was that crying lady he met when he was talking to Kelnar. Together, Kelnar and I questioned him all about the Ring of the Kraken. Of course, he knew nothing, so we asked him about Jalia. Since we got no information from Belok, we decided to break Jalia out before she could be executed. Nlishgar and Sarisa hid in the crowd behind the gallows, Kelnar and I in front of the gallows, and Fitz on a nearby roof.
Some Dragoons made some speeches, then Kelnar cast obscuring mist. As Nlishgar grabbed Jalia and ran toward Sarisa, I summoned an illusion of Jalia running the other way. Meanwhile, we were about to be discovered, so Kelnar summoned an ankylosaurus and Fitz summoned a wolf. When the wolf wasn’t enough, Fitz stood up and yelled that he cast the mist and started shooting dragoons. Soon later he ran and nobody could follow.
We all met at the former drug dealing business and talked to Jalia about her suspicions of the Ring of the Kraken. She said she suspected people who were Dragoons, so she talked to Trey Perrin, a Dragoon who she really trusted. He had said that he got information about it and was going to have a date with her to tell her about it, but he didn’t arrive because he was sent to find Garr Bloodbane’s long lost gold. He didn’t come back for a while, so the Dragoons sent Gregory Bonedeuce after him.
Joe, one of our workers at our place, came running in saying that Dragoons were coming. We ran to our boat and left in a rush to get to the Pearl Eye Atoll’s, where Trey was sent. When we were boating, Nlishgar tried to steer our boat away from the rocks, but he failed. We crashed and to lighten up the mood, Kelnar and I brewed some rum. Sadly, Joe was so drunk, he tried to stand on the seaweed surrounding the boat. A tendril of seaweed pulled him down, so Kelnar cast water breathing on us and we dived down.
What we saw was horrifying! It was a huge monster made out of seaweed. Nlishgar, Sarisa, and Fitz swam straight up to it as the battle started.
