NEW ADDITION to The Guild: Join the new SCI-FI group!

23 Mar

sci-fiAs you all knew when you joined the Pathfinders’ Guild, “Adventure is our craft.”

But not all adventures are set in medieval times with swords and magic. Some are set in colonial America. Others are set in the future. Some involve zombie apocalypses. Some incorporate future (or even alien!) technology.

But these adventures don’t exactly fit into the nation of Gildhaven, and our Guild characters don’t exactly fit into those worlds.

So, on the initiative of the Grandmaster and Ben (and presaged by the visionary GMing of Otto and Lucien), we are forming a Sci-Fi group within the Guild!

(By the way, if you have a good idea for the name of the group, let us know! 10 XP for the name that sticks!)

Here’s how it will work:

  • It will meet on Mondays. (If you want to be in the Rise of the Runelords group, unfortunately this means you will have to choose one or the other.)
  • Your GM(s) will create your own adventures, and create your own rules for classes and equipment. This can include Pathfinder RPG rules if you like. What happens in your adventures will be SEPARATE from the goings-in in Gildhaven.
  • You will earn generic Guild XP and Gold if you play or GM in the Sci-Fi Group. Of course, if you are GMing you earn more.

Space is limited! If you are interested in the Sci-Fi group, then comment below!

You know folks I never heard of Titanfall before finding this pic! It just popped up as an ad one day and I thought it was cool lol.

No, it depends on the GM. There’s more freedom to introduce your own tech and equipment and classes that you invent. Ben wants to have a trip through history that goes from the prehistoric past to the future. There’s a stop in colonial America on the way I think.
