Kingmaker #1: Interceding at Oleg’s Trading Post

The leader of the bandits.

The leader of the bandits.

Make sure to check out our Kingmaker party!

In this first episode of Pathfinder, we developed our characters. A creepy oracle child named Oculus, an Oread monk Ur, an Elven wizard Xotani, a half-elven ninja Skia, and a half-elven ranger Oasîn.

28th day of Calistril, 4680 AR

We started our adventure by getting an invitation from Brevoy to gain land so the war enemy couldn’t. Oculus stole his invitation. Meanwhile, Xotani was invited to the campaign as an offering to angels and because he is a distant noble. Skia is doing it as community service for a crime committed. Meanwhile, Ur and Oasîn were recommended. Then we set off and started at Oleg’s Trading Post.  We asked the troubled owners if they needed help. It turned out that every first day of the month a group of bandits would come and steal their stuff. Every time they came in a smaller group: first ten, then eight, then six.  We ended giving them help with the bandit problem.

Our plan was to put Ur underneath a pile of all the supplies and he could smash the bandits.  Then Oasîn hid behind the corner and, Oculus pretended to be an innocent child.  Xotani put his horse in the stables and stood behind a corner with Skia.  First we got the bandits by surprise, but Ur took quite a few hits so that Oculus had to heal him. Oculus also started stabbing their getaway horse. The horse sort of chased him for a while after that.  Many of the group were also competing for who gets to kill a half-naked guy.  We ended by winning and having to calm down the horse that chased Oculus and sending him back to the bandit camp with a dead body and a message on it. It read: “We are coming for you. Beware.” We then bought some maps and went on our way.
