Half-elven ranger 1

A daughter of human and elf, Oasîn was a source of shame to both sides of her family and left to die in the wilds. There, she found protection from a fantastical beast, and she learned how to live off the land from an early age. She has grown up deeply mistrustful of others. And so she is deeply loyal to Ur, who has been willing to take her under his wing.

Oculus and his sister never knew their father. But their strange appearance and extended youth make clear that their mother had dallied with the undead.
In his formative years, he was buried alive in a graveyard. For days, he lay within the grave until his terror strangely turned to comfort. Since his return, he has been a different person: part mortal and part ghost, in possession of the powers of the dead.
Oculus became a brigand and has been imprisoned before for his transgressions. Someone he knew was originally offered the charter to clear the Greenbelt for settlement. But Oculus… made sure that he received the charter instead.

Skia bears the prestigious Canticum name, but a raid by bandits led to the death of many she had held dear. She now seeks a life of adventure. Her martial technique is aided by the formal dance training she had once received. She is now a brigand, and her access and connections have helped her acquire some significant wealth — but she still holds a burning hatred for bandits and their kind for what they did to her family.

An elder in relation to many of his peers, Ur is still a young man for his race. He achieved his training through unorthodox methods and is resourceful and clever. He is a friend to young Oasîn, whom he met when she confused him for a rock and tried to pry crystals out of his back one day. With decades of experience in society, he helped Oasîn adjust to civilized life.

Although Xotani bears a name suggesting prestige and nobility, his close family has struck out to live a pioneer life. He feels loyal and beholden to family to a point of fault. Xotani has always been intensely curious about magic and the way things work, and is quite inventive himself when it comes to magic.
